t minus 18 hours!!!

well... i'm almost packed, i'm making plans for my 17 hour layover in jo-burg, and i'm saying my goodbyes! i can't believe that this journey is about to start!  i'm a little nervous, but i'm mostly excited to see what life is like in a different part of the world, and i hope i will be useful and helpful at the orphanage.  i appreciate your prayers and encouragement.  i'm excited about sharing my experiences with you and i can't wait to hear about all of your adventures this summer too!

2 - hey claire!!!!!!!! this blog thing is cool!! ok im going to stop the excessive exclamation points! haha i don't really have much to say yet except that i love you, and I will be thinking about you. and if you thought i played the guitar alot at school....well, i am pretty much a heavy addict right now! I will let you know if something life-altering happens but i know that you are probably just as interested in the little things...i can't wait to hear about the "little" things in africa!!!
